Cruise Plan

Day 1 – Pointe-à-Pitre
Boarding, provisioning, and getting to know the catamaran. Evening in the marina – local bars or first drink on deck.

Day 2 – Dream Beach
Sailing to one of Guadeloupe’s most beautiful beaches. Swimming, relaxation, and dinner on the beach or under the stars.

Day 3 – Sainte-Anne & Marie-Galante
Morning stroll through Sainte-Anne, then ferry to Marie-Galante. Quad rides, open-air museum, and a rum distillery visit.

Day 4 – Les Saintes
Sailing to Les Saintes archipelago. Terre-de-Bas, Terre-de-Haut, and Fort Napoleon with breathtaking views.

Day 5 – Basse-Terre
Docking at Port de Vieux. Volcanic beaches: Anse du Val d’Orge, Anse à la Barque, Petite Anse. End the day with the most stunning Caribbean sunset.

Day 6 – Deshaies – shore day
Dinghy ashore, car rental inland. Botanical garden, trekking, waterfalls, and a jungle barbecue.

Day 7 – Deshaies – shore day
Zoo in the Botanical Park, nature walks, waterfalls, local flavors. Return to Pointe-à-Pitre and disembark (7-day version).

9–10 day option:

  • Day 8 – Northern Guadeloupe: hidden bays, snorkeling, SUP, overnight at anchor.
  • Day 9 – Îlet du Gosier: relaxation, last shopping, swimming.
  • Day 10 – Return to Pointe-à-Pitre, farewell and disembarkation.

Optional Activities:


– Visit the Carbet Waterfalls (land-based, accessible from Basse-Terre)
– Beach dinner with live music (Les Saintes or Sainte-Anne)
– Browse local markets for spices, rum, and handmade crafts

Route A: Classic Islands – Marie-Galante, Les Saintes, Dominica, Basse-Terre

(11 Days on the Water)
Distance: approx. 150–170 NM

 

Day 1 – Pointe-à-Pitre → Îlet du Gosier (4 NM)

Easy start to get into the sailing rhythm, swimming, and snorkeling.

Day 2 – Îlet du Gosier → Marie-Galante (22 NM)
Visit a rum distillery, old windmills, Anse Canot beach.

Day 3 – Marie-Galante → Les Saintes (Terre-de-Haut) (20 NM)
Charming fishing village, dinner ashore.

Day 4 – Full day in Les Saintes
Visit Fort Napoléon and take a scenic island walk (no sailing).

Day 5 – Les Saintes → Dominica (Portsmouth) (22 NM)
Excursion along the Indian River, dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 – Trip to Trafalgar Falls and Emerald Pool
Hiking and river swims in Dominica.

Day 7 – Dominica → Basse-Terre (25 NM)
Explore Guadeloupe National Park – Carbet Falls or La Soufrière volcano.

Day 8 – Basse-Terre → Pigeon Island (Cousteau Reserve) (7 NM)
Snorkeling, diving, paddleboarding.

Day 9 – Pigeon Island → Sainte-Anne (25 NM)
Local market shopping, beach time.

Day 10 – Sainte-Anne → Îlet du Gosier (5 NM)
Final swim, trip wrap-up.

Day 11 – Return to Pointe-à-Pitre (4 NM)

Route B: Small Circle – Petite-Terre, La Désirade, Marie-Galante, Les Saintes

Distance: approx. 130–140 NM

 

Day 1 – Pointe-à-Pitre → Îlet du Gosier (4 NM)

Day 2 – Îlet du Gosier → Petite-Terre (18 NM)
Nature reserve, coral reef snorkeling.

Day 3 – Petite-Terre → La Désirade (10 NM)
Trekking, wild landscapes.

Day 4 – Exploring La Désirade
Beach time and hiking.

Day 5 – La Désirade → Marie-Galante (35 NM)
Longer sail, beach relaxation, local cuisine.

Day 6 – Discovering Marie-Galante
Rum distillery, old mills, island history.

Day 7 – Marie-Galante → Les Saintes (20 NM)
Dinner in Terre-de-Haut, village stroll.

Day 8 – Fort Napoléon and beach time

Day 9 – Les Saintes → Sainte-Anne (30 NM)

Route C: Guadeloupe, Dominica & Petite-Terre – For Nature Lovers

Early start, dinner in the local port.

Day 3 – Indian River, Cabrits National Park
Hiking, Kalinago village, swimming in Emerald Pool.

Day 4 – Portsmouth → Pigeon Island (35 NM)
Snorkeling in Cousteau Reserve.

Day 5 – Pigeon Island → Les Saintes (15 NM)
Snorkeling, beach time, dinner ashore.

Day 6 – Day in Les Saintes
Fort Napoléon, gardens, local shops.

Day 7 – Les Saintes → Marie-Galante (20 NM)
Beach, rum, relaxation.
